Neu-Ulm – The SpareParts LogisticsCentre of EvoBus GmbH, the world's largest central store for bus parts, is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Since 2007, the facility, situated in the Schwaighofen district of Neu-Ulm, has supplied over 650 Omniplus service centres, warehouses, dealers and workshops with spareparts for the Setra and Mercedes-Benz brands – round-the-clock.

In an area of around 40 000 square metres, the SpareParts LogisticsCentre stocks over 130 000 spareparts and accessories in certified Omniplus quality. Up to 700 items a day leave the location, which employs around 400 people. In addition to an administration building, the centrepiece is the logistics building with incoming goods area, automatic small-parts store, manual store as well as areas for packing and loading. With its Europe-wide 24-hour delivery service, online connection to all service organisations and authorised workshops as well as its state-of-the-art electronic parts documentation systems, the Centre sets the benchmark in international stock management.

All the processes are controlled by a modern inventory management system to guarantee maximum availability of parts. In addition, the current shipping status of ordered parts can be accessed at any time.
