Official start for the E-Bus Lines: Mayor Dr. Peter Kurz, Rüdiger Kappel, Head of Sales for Fleets at Daimler Buses Germany, rnv Managing Director Christian Volz and Christian Specht, First Mayor of Mannheim, symbolically put the line into operation in the newly designed Franklin district. The new e-bus lines are intended to make residential areas more attractive and the industrial estates more attractive. The eCitaro runs the lines purely electrically and thus completely emission-free.
