- Wörth am Rhein, May 21, 2019 - At the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant, the sapphire-blue Actros 1851 LS 4x2 was the first customer vehicle to roll off the production line. Stefan Buchner, Head of Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Gerald Jank, Head of Mercedes-Benz Trucks Operations, and Dr Matthias Jurytko, Head of Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant, accompanied the series production start of the Mercedes-Benz flagship truck together with the production team in the Palatinate town of Wörth.

Economical, dynamic, versatile and comfortable – with these characteristics the Actros has become the most successful heavy-duty truck in the world.

- Wörth am Rhein, Nov 27, 2015 - The success story of the Mercedes-Benz Actros and "Quality made in Wörth" continues. Today (Friday), Dr. Holger Scherr, Head of Supply Chain & Supplier Management at the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant, handed over the 100,000th new Actros produced in Wörth to Tobias Nagel, a partner in the Nagel Group. The milestone vehicle is a light-blue Actros 1843 LS and will be used on the roads of Germany and other European countries by Kraftverkehr Nagel GmbH & Co. KG.

- Wörth am Rhein, Sep 17, 2015 - Solid evidence of the Mercedes-Benz Actros success story and "quality made in Wörth": Now, the one millionth Actros produced in Wörth was delivered to long-standing customer Imperial. The milestone truck, a three-axle tractor unit with the description 2646 LS 6X4 in arctic white, will be on the road in South Africa.

- Wörth, Oct 1, 2013 - One out of every two trucks registered in Germany is a Mercedes-Benz vehicle built in Wörth. The vehicles manufactured at this truck plant, which is the biggest in the world, are delivered to approximately 150 countries around the globe. The plant employs roughly 12,000 people, who assemble around 100,000 units each year.

- Wörth, Oct 1, 2013 - The Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth is celebrating its 50th anniversary of truck production. The first trucks rolled off the line in Wörth on October 1, 1963. A ceremony held today at the plant to commemorate this milestone was attended by some 300 guests from the realms of politics and industry.

- Wörth, Dec 3, 2010 - Among the fleet managers of haulage operators and local authorities, the Application Information Centre at the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant has long been known as a Mecca for the commercial vehicle sector. Today, ten years after it was established, its reputation reaches far beyond the borders of Germany. Some 13,000 visitors come each year to the BIC (short for its German name of Branchen-Informations-Center), as it is commonly known.

- Roosendaal, Netherlands/Wörth, Jul 3, 2009 - Penske Logistics has added four new Mercedes-Benz Actros 1841 LS semitrailer tractors to its fleet. The European headquarters of Penske Logistics in Roosendaal, Netherlands, will employ the new vehicles exclusively for transporting goods of its customer Truck-Lite. Based in Harlow, UK, Truck-Lite is a supplier of mirrors and lighting for commercial vehicles.

- Stuttgart/Wörth am Rhein, Jun 18, 2008 - Today was the formal opening of a new Development and Test Center (EVZ) for trucks at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth. In attendance at the ceremony were Rhineland-Palatinate Premier Kurt Beck, Mayor of the City of Wörth Harald Seiter, as well as Daimler representatives Andreas Renschler, member of the Board of Management responsible for Daimler Trucks; Dr. Jörg Zürn, Head of Product Development at Mercedes-Benz Trucks; and Martin Daum, Director of the Mercedes-Benz Wörth Plant.
