Offering tangible external strengths, great intrinsic values, maximum benefit and low costs, the new Mercedes-Benz Vito is the versatile and real professional among mid-size vans with a permissible gross vehicle weight between 2.5 and 3.2 tonnes. The new Vito contains a lot of genes from the successful Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and which have been transferred across to this vehicle category. In terms of design, the new Vito is both eye-catching and functional with a high-quality, driver-friendly cockpit. Its engines are unbeatably economical and with rear, front and now all-wheel drive available, the vehicle is uniquely versatile. While offering an astoundingly high payload of more than 1000 kg for a permissible gross vehicle weight of 2.8 t the purchase price and maintenance costs are unexpectedly low. New assistance and safety systems put it ahead of the competition. Ultimately, the range comprising panel van, Mixto and the new Tourer minibus family (Vito Tourer BASE, Vito Tourer PRO and Vito Tourer SELECT) sets benchmarks. In the German market the Vito 109 CDI panel van starts from 17,990 euros (excluding VAT).

The Vito panel van is the only model in its class available in three lengths. With front-wheel drive it has the highest payload at this level. Meanwhile the Vito Mixto featuring a crewcab combines the advantages of a panel van with those of a crewbus. The new Vito Tourer sees Mercedes-Benz opening an entirely new chapter in passenger transport. There are three versions available: the functional and rugged Vito Tourer BASE, the versatile Vito Tourer PRO and the premium Vito Tourer SELECT. By virtue of this complete model family, the Tourer can be tailored to accommodate all types of passenger transport.
