  • South Korea/Stuttgart, Mar 1, 2012 - South Korea's largest airport, Incheon, has expanded its fleet of winter service vehicles with the addition of a further seven Actros models from Mercedes-Benz. Handed over in the middle of February to Jae-Sun Ryu, the airport's Deputy Executive Director, the vehicles bring the total number of Mercedes-Benz Actros models in service at the modern airport to 28.

  • Stuttgart/ Wörth , Jul 2, 2009 - Readers of the Polish specialist truck magazine “Polski Traker” and listeners of the Polish truckers’ radio station “Radio Truck” have named the Mercedes-Benz Actros the best truck on the Polish market, awarding it the title “Truck of the Year 2009” in Poland. More than a third of the experts taking part in the vote – covering more than two dozen truck model series from different manufacturers – decided in favour of the Mercedes-Benz Actros.

The event heralds the nationwide launch of the brand-new Actros truck on August 23, 2008. It was truly a sight to behold: every thirty seconds, one of the 350 or so new Actros demonstration vehicles left the biggest truck factory in the world.

A convoy of Actros tractor-trailers is setting out from the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and driving through the Central European nations of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania to Bulgaria, the tour’s final destination.

  • Stuttgart/Wörth am Rhein, Mar 28, 2008 - Daimler AG and CS Cargo Group have signed a framework agreement regulating the delivery of 335 Actros trucks in 2008. The agreement also gives CS Cargo Group the option to order a total of 1,500 Mercedes-Benz trucks by 2010.
