Daimler launches online survey on sustainability

Daimler AG is addressing employees, shareholders, customers and suppliers, as well as the interested public, with an online survey on the subject of sustainability. The results are to show which sustainability issues are particularly important to the respondents, as well as to lead to a better understanding about the expectations placed on the company. The survey, which will run until November 29, 2013, can be taken by all interested parties.
With a sustainability management as a component of the company's strategic target system, Daimler AG strives to bring its economic, ecological and social objectives in harmony. For the company, dialog with the interested public is a key element of the continuous improvement process.
The results of the Internet survey will be reconciled with the corporate targets. They will contribute to the definition of the status quo and to focusing of the key fields of action and the resulting target program for 2020. The results of the survey will be published in the annual Sustainability Report, which is presented in April of each year for the Annual Meeting.
