  • Stuttgart/Paris, May 31, 2012 - Mercedes-Benz is continuing the successful partnership launched last year by Maybach with the world-famous Louvre Museum in Paris. Until 2013, the premium car brand with the star will be the exclusive main sponsor of annually alternating exhibitions of contemporary sculpture beneath the world-famous glass pyramid. From tomorrow, Mercedes-Benz is presenting the new sculpture “Suppo”, by Belgian conceptual artist Wim Delvoye. It will be on view in the Louvre until 3 December 2012, as part of the artist’s monographic exhibition.

Mercedes-Benz and its performance-brand AMG will also be creating a unique automotive experience by supplying other shuttle services, showcasing vehicles and offering exclusive test drives to guests and visitors to this year’s film festival from 16 to 27 May 2012.

  • Stuttgart, Jun 25, 2010 - The automotive brand Maybach is supporting a major exhibition being held by the Fondation Maeght between 27 June and 31 October 2010 at the foundation’s headquarters in Saint Paul de Vence near Nice, France, where more than 170 works of art by Alberto Giacometti, one of the most important sculptors and artists of the 20th century will be on display. This event sees the Stuttgart-based luxury car manufacturer enhancing its involvement with contemporary art.

Now in its second year, this festival of the contemporary arts is being held in the famous holiday resort and the surrounding Engadine region from 21 to 30 August 2009.
