- Stuttgart / Warwick, Dec 5, 2016 - Logistics specialist New Horizon Logistics Ltd from Warwick in the UK attaches great importance to environmental friendliness and efficiency: For its new 7.5 tonne truck it therefore opted for a Fuso Canter 7C15 Eco Hybrid, a vehicle which scores highly in both of these disciplines.

- Stuttgart/Grimsby, Great Britain, Jan 22, 2016 - In the British haulage sector a further transport company is placing its trust in the efficient and environmentally friendly hybrid technology from Fuso. The company "Evans European Transport", which specialises in refrigerated transport and is based in Grimsby at the mouth of the Humber where it flows into the North Sea, recently placed its trust in the performance of the Fuso Canter Eco Hybrid for food transport.

- Stuttgart/London, Jun 17, 2015 - The Fuso Canter 4x4 is entering a completely new area of operations in Great Britain – the British rail network. London-based Network Rail, which has been responsible for the maintenance of the railway infrastructure in Great Britain since October 2002, is for the first time using 20 specially equipped Fuso Canter 4x4 trucks for track maintenance and repairs.

- Dublin/Stuttgart, Nov 21, 2014 - The Fuso Canter Eco Hybrid has been named "Irish Green Commercial of the Year" in Dublin for the second time. As in 2012, the environment-friendly diesel-electric light-duty truck from Daimler's Japanese subsidiary Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTB) won over the jury across the board.

- Stuttgart, Jul 11, 2014 - The cleanest technology, whatever the application: Fuso is a pioneer of "green" drive systems in the commercial vehicle sector. The Daimler subsidiary in Japan is the home of Daimler Trucks' centre of competence for hybrid technology, and with this experience behind it, Fuso has also been responsible for developing the new battery-electric-powered “Zero Emission” Canter E-Cell.

- Tramagal/Stuttgart , Feb 12, 2014 - The Tramagal plant is commemorating its eventful 50-year history, during which it has produced more than 200,000 vehicles. Today the plant is FUSO’s backbone in Europe. In a ceremony attended by Pedro Passos Coelho, the Prime Minister of Portugal, representatives of Daimler AG and the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), marked the 50th anniversary of the Tramagal plant and honored the facility as the central production location for the international best-seller FUSO Canter in Europe.

- Stuttgart/Munich, Nov 20, 2013 - With the Fuso Canter Eco Hybrid and Daimler FleetBoard, Daimler AG can present two winners of the "European Transport Sustainability Prize 2014". The prize is awarded every other year by Huss-Verlag, publishers of "Transport" - a specialist magazine for goods transportation - for exceptional contributions to sustainability in the field of commercial vehicles.

- Stuttgart, Oct 24, 2013 - The Fuso Canter – the manoeuvrable payload star among light-duty trucks – is launching into the 2014 model year with a host of new features. A new top-of-the-range weight variant with a permissible gross vehicle weight of 8.55 t allows for chassis payloads of up to six tonnes, and as such sets the new benchmark in this weight class. The Canter 9C15/9C18 – as the new weight variant is known – features as standard the "Duonic" automated dual clutch transmission and the wide "C" (comfort) cab, and is available with efficient 3.0-litre engines with outputs of 110 kW (150 hp) and 129 kW (175 hp) as well as diesel particulate filter and SCR technology “BlueTec 6”.

- Stuttgart / Jakarta, Oct 7, 2013 - Daimler’s commercial vehicle subsidiary Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is celebrating a milestone achievement of one million commercial vehicles sold in MFTBC´s largest export market Indonesia. The company has been present on the Indonesian market since 1970 and has established itself as the leading commercial vehicle brand in that country.

- Stuttgart/Kawasaki, Japan, May 23, 2012 - Daimler’s Japanese commercial vehicle subsidiary, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), has launched the sale of its innovative Fuso Canter Eco Hybrid truck in Japan. The light duty truck, which celebrated its world premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show – Japan’s largest automotive exhibition – in November 2011, will also be introduced by Fuso in Europe and other international markets in the third quarter of this year.

- Stuttgart/Ötigheim, May 15, 2012 - The range of new-generation Fuso Canter trucks made its debut following extensive revision of the vehicle's technology and styling. The range of conventionally rear-wheel-drive light-duty trucks with their high payload is about to get a new variant featuring selectable all-wheel drive.

- Stuttgart, Feb 16, 2012 - The arrival of a completely revised Fuso Canter marked the launch of the new generation of the truck series in October 2011. And now, for the first time, its all-wheel-drive variant is also coming to the European market. Production at the Tramagal plant in Portugal is in the end of February 2012. The Canter 4x4 model in question is the 6C18 with a permissible gross vehicle weight of 6.5 tonnes, a 2-metre width Comfort cab and an output of 129 kW (175 hp).

- Stuttgart/Ludwigsburg, Nov 8, 2011 - The new Fuso Canter is all set to enter into its next generation. The internal abbreviation for the global bestseller from Daimler Trucks is now TF (as successor of the successful TD). Fuso is consolidating its technical leadership in the light truck segment with Duonic, the first dual-clutch transmission for trucks. In conjunction with extended service intervals, an increased payload and much lower maintenance costs, the new Fuso Canter is now even more economical than before. The chassis of the 3.5-tonne variant features independent suspension on the front axle for the first time.
