Stuttgart – Daimler is engaged in various ways to support social and societal development worldwide. In 2019 alone, more than 2,000 projects were supported nationally and internationally. These include initiatives such as ProCent, Mobile Kids, Bon Pasteur, Genius and many more.

In recent years, the company's social commitment has been bundled under "Daimler WeCare". With its development into the initiative WE CARE WE DO WE MOVE, Daimler is aligning its corporate citizenship activities with its sustainable business strategy. Together with its employees, Daimler wants to create sustainable benefits for the common good in the communities surrounding its locations and around the world.

The following commitment is the basis of the new initiative:
WE CARE, because we take on responsibility as part of our sustainable business strategy.
WE DO, because our commitment to society is characterized by our active involvement.
WE MOVE, because we want to achieve positive results in the world.

“Daimler promotes respect, tolerance, and freedom with a broad variety of activities worldwide. As a globally operating company, we consider it as both our responsibility and our obligation to support social development around the world. For us, business success and social responsibility is inseparable,” says Joerg Howe, Head of Global Communications, Daimler AG.
