  • 130 kW engine exclusively for use in camper vans
    The new 130 kW (177 hp) four-cylinder diesel engine in the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is predestined for long distances. It is available exclusively for camper vans in combination with the new front-wheel drive (combined fuel consumption: 8.5-7.7 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions: 222 -201 g/km).
  • New 9G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission with torque converter makes for unique driving comfort and ease of shifting
    Camper vans based on the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter are optionally available with the new 9G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission with torque converter in combination with front-wheel drive or with 7G-TRONIC PLUS in the case of rear-wheel drive. 
  • Safety as standard
    The new Sprinter comes with a host of safety and assistance systems from the latest model series of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, which have been specifically adapted for use in vans. They include: Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Brake Assist, the Parking package including 360-degree camera as well as Traffic Sign Assist. 
  • New standards in connectivity and infotainment
    With its variety of connectivity solutions, the new Sprinter is the innovation driver in the camper van market. They include the new MBUX multimedia system with up to 10.25-inch HD display, touch (screen) control and intuitive voice control.
  • Camper van features already included in the basic vehicle
    Whether all-season tyres, battery-saving "Hibernation" mode or electric parking brake – the new Sprinter shines as a basic vehicle with a host of features tailored to the needs of camper van drivers.

    With HYMERCAR Grand Canyon S, HYMER ML-T and the new Hymermobil B-Class ModernComfort range, Hymer GmbH & Co KG presents the first camper vans to benefit from the advantages of the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. 
  • New Hymermobil B-Class ModernComfort impresses with low kerb weight
    The use of the new Sprinter tractor head in combination with the HYMER SLC chassis makes for a particularly low kerb weight of just 2900 kilograms, leaving plenty of space for holiday luggage, also in the 3.5-tonne class. Even with a length of 7.39 metres, the vehicle weighs in at well below 3000 kilograms. 
  • New interior concept with a clean look
    With two variants – integrated and semi-integrated – HYMER is breaking new ground with the B-Class ModernComfort. The living area with its continuous single-level floor is dominated by the strict lines of the gently sloping room arrangement of six degrees over a length of up to 7.39 metres. 
  • HYMER set to be largest single customer for the new Sprinter
    Mercedes‑Benz Vans and HYMER in 2018 signed an agreement for the supply of a four-digit number of vehicles of the tractor head variant. From 2019, an annual high four-digit sales volume is planned.
