- Stuttgart, Feb 26, 2021 - 2021 is a very special year at Daimler Trucks and Buses – there are four anniversaries to celebrate: in 1896 Gottlieb Daimler presented the first truck and in 1951 Otto Kässbohrer followed with the first bus to feature a self-supporting structure – the Setra. Five years before that the first prototype of the Unimog scrambled across difficult terrain.

- Stuttgart, Feb 26, 2021 - 160 vehicles and a total of 1,500 exhibits are presented in the varied permanent exhibition of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The “33 Extras” are a particular highlight: they can bring the history of personal mobility and motoring culture to life using details that are often surprising.

- Stuttgart, Feb 26, 2021 - Mercedes-Benz Vans extends its three-year involvement with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2021 and continues to be the title sponsor of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships are also supported once again by the brand with the three-pointed star, as a main partner from this year on.

- Stuttgart, Feb 25, 2021 - On 15 February 1936, Mercedes-Benz presented the 170 V (W 136) at the International Automobile and Motorcycle Exhibition (IAMA) in Berlin. This marked the beginning of a success story for the brand: fifty years after the invention of the car by Carl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler, the technically sophisticated and visually striking 170 V became a bestseller and secured Mercedes-Benz a top position in the medium-size car category. No less than 140,386 of the 170 V were produced.

- Stuttgart, Feb 24, 2021 - Personal mobility was becoming increasingly electric. At the time, and through the coming years, Mercedes-Benz pursued a number of parallel paths in this direction: the brand had already started to offer a steadily increasing proportion of its vehicles as battery electric and plug-in hybrid models, particularly in the passenger car segment.
