      <description><![CDATA[Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton will start the Belgian Grand Prix from pole position after setting a time of 1m47.338 in the exciting third part of qualifying. His team-mate Heikki Kovalainen posted a time of 1m47.815 and will start third on the grid. It is Lewis’s 11th Formula 1 pole position, his fifth of the year and the 60th of the McLaren-Mercedes partnership, which began in 1995.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Vodafone McLaren Mercedes drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis Hamilton finished Friday’s second Free Practice session for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps in third and fourth positions respectively. In a session which was disrupted by light rain and a red flag half an hour before the end, Heikki completed 19 laps and set a time of 1m48.740. Lewis did 17 laps and was on a 1m48.805. In the morning session, Lewis was third fastest with a 1m47.878 (27 laps), whilst Heikki was fourth with a 1m47.932 (24 laps).]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Ten years ago one of the world's most unusual production vehicles was launched on the market. It was new and excitingly different to conventional cars – the smart city coupé, now called the smart fortwo. This extremely compact vehicle had just two seats and measured slightly more than two and a half metres in length. It was also able to fit into parking spaces perpendicular to the flow of traffic and it established its own class. Nevertheless, it took two people and their luggage to their destination very comfortably and with maximum safety. It also had impressively low fuel consumption and minimum carbon dioxide emissions. ]]></description>
