Personal Settings
|
The "Personal Settings" button in the header on top of each page or in the “Personal Services” box in the right-hand column configures the site according to the user's preferences: You can also use this tool to request e-mail notices when content of interest to you is added to the site. You can store your personal preferences at the global DaimlerChrysler Media site. |
If you have also registered with a national Media site of our markets, you can set your personal preferences here too. This tool will automatically transfer all corresponding new press releases, photos, etc., to your “Personal Newsroom” (therefore, click on the "Your Personal Newsroom" button within the box of your “Personal Settings” in the right-hand column).
If you wish, “Personal Services” can send you notification by e-mail as soon as new content that fits your selected profile is added to the DaimlerChrysler Media site.
You also can use "Personal Services" to change your password and other personal data at any time.
How It Works
To open the Media Services start page, click on "Your Personal Newsroom" in the “Personal Preferences” box in the right-hand margin of any page.
Choose your preferences (password, address, e-mail, choice of language, newsroom etc.) by clicking on the "Change Personal Data" option in the right-hand column of the “Content” box.
Edit your personal interest profile using the "Newsletter/Profile, global" or “Newsletter/Profile, global" option in the right-hand column. Mark the categories you wish to select and choose how long you want the information stored (up to 3 or 4 weeks).
When you are done creating your profile, click on "Save."
To download objects from "Your Personal Newsroom", check the corresponding boxes and then select the function “Immediately download selected item” or “Add selected item to Download Center”. All items will be transferred automatically to your personal Download Center, where you can start downloading (see "More Help").
Our RSS feeds ensure that you are automatically notified whenever we publish a new news story or IR release.
