Personnel change in the Board of Management of Daimler Financial Services AG

Margarete Haase (55), Member of the Daimler Financial Services Board of Management responsible for Human Resources Sales & Financial Services, will be taking on a new position outside Daimler AG.
As of April 1, 2009, Margarete Haase will be the new member of the Board of Management of Deutz AG in Cologne. There she will be responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Investor Relations and Support House.
The Board of Management of Daimler Financial Services AG wishes Margarete Haase every success in her new position and thanks her for her commitment and constructive cooperation. Ms. Haase has worked at Daimler AG for a total of 22 years and has been a member of the Board of Management of Daimler Financial Services since November 1, 2007.
The decision concerning Ms. Haase's successor will be announced in the short term by the Supervisory Board of Daimler Financial Services.
