1952 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W 194 series) with chassis number 2 – the oldest SL in existence. The vehicle underwent a complete restoration at the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center in 2011. The image shows the bodywork being installed on the chassis, the so-called “marriage”.
