19 May 2016: Ten years of the Mercedes-Benz Museum: Celebration on occasion of the museum's anniversary
On 19 May 2016, exactly ten years to the day since the opening at the new site, the Mercedes-Benz Museum will be inviting you to celebrate its anniversary. Early birds can already celebrate between 5 am and 10 am at the museum's first pre-work party. On the day, entry to the museum is free of charge between 9 am and 6 pm and the available special tours are also free.

Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film 2016 : The stage is all set for animated films at the Mercedes-Benz Museum
Be a filmmaker for the day: that's what children are invited to do at the hugely popular "Tricks for Kids" workshops being organised at the Mercedes-Benz Museum as part of the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) that is taking place from 27 April until 1 May 2016. What's more, there are also two free programmes of films entitled "Yesterday – Today – Tomorrow" featuring some real animation gems from previous years.

On 19 March 2016 the British auction house Bonhams is calling out a total of 57 cars from the Stuttgart brand. Added to these are twelve automobilia, which are collectors' items on the theme of motorised mobility.

A new home for the Mercedes-Benz brand: the Mercedes-Benz Museum opened its doors on 19 May 2006, in a spectacular new building outside the gates of the plant in Untertürkheim. Since then it has become a landmark, with more than 7.1 million visitors to date (as of 31 Dec. 2015).
