The B-Class F-CELL employs the sandwich floor architecture that Mercedes-Benz introduced ten years ago, partly to prepare for the integration of alternative drive systems. The advantage: the drive components are located in the sandwich floor, where they are protected and don’t take up much space so that the vehicle’s interior remains fully usable with 416 litres of boot capacity available.
