On the occasion of the plant inauguration in Oragadam-Chennai, Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars (centre), handed over an Indian symbol for gratitude to the Chief Minister of the Indian state Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa. Andreas Renschler, Daimler Board of Management member responsible for Daimler Trucks and Daimler Buses (r.) and Marc Llistosella, CEO and Managing Director of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (l.) accompanied the opening ceremony as well.
