Daimler promotes autonomous driving sustainably and comprehensively
Daimler AG examines the environmental impacts of its products throughout their entire product life cycle and regularly reports to the public about them in its annual Sustainability Report. The core message for last year: Despite a production increase by more than 5%, CO2 emissions were reduced by 2.5% over the same period thanks to energy saving measures and the transition to fuels with lower CO2 content. The emissions of the European passenger car fleet have been lowered by more than 27% since 2007.

Mercedes-Benz Metris mid-size commercial van makes its debut at NTEA Work Truck Show
The Canadian division of Mercedes-Benz Vans is pleased to announce the official debut of the Mercedes-Benz Metris at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 10:00 am. This official launch presentation of the model follows the “Mission: Metris” teaser campaign at SEMA in Las Vegas in November 2014 which featured four custom upfitted Metris concept vans. The Metris, which will be available in Canada starting in October 2015, is the Canadian and American sibling of the Vito, which will remain the mid-size commercial van name for all other global markets.

Mercedes-Benz Canada reports continued growth with record-breaking February sales
Mercedes-Benz Canada and its national dealer network reported today that a total of 2,641 Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter and smart units were delivered to customers in February. This represents the best February on record for the group, and an overall sales increase of 13.4% or 313 units compared to last year. These sales figures have pushed overall growth so far this year to 11.5% with 5,136 vehicles delivered so far in 2015.

The high-tech drive, the signature AMG handling and the high level of individuality in equipment choices guarantee an utterly unique driving experience. The top model in the C-Class line-up is driven by a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine closely related to the power unit that provides breathtaking propulsion in the Mercedes-AMG GT. The power spectrum ranges from 469 hp in the C 63 to 503 hp in the C 63 S.
